Experimenting with sleep again

This is the update on my experiment with sleep through which I wanted to test how much sleep is really needed for my body to rest:

In the last 8 days I have managed to get out of bed after 4 hours only once. Most of the time I have slept around the 6 hours mark and it looks like this is the amount of sleep which is optimal for me. The 6 hours includes 1 -2 small breaks during the day when I either sleep or just stay in bed and rest and this is also very supportive.

The 4 hour sleep routine is kind of edge mark. At this stage I would say that this would be possible but I would have to adjust and correct few points in my life. First point would be to avoid situations when I work too much and cross certain critical point when the body gets into accelerated tiredness. And here I am referring to my daily job as well as my work on the computer in the evenings and until late at night. In regards to my daily job it is rather difficult to make the adjustments because I provide service and the load of work varies depending on the demand of my customers. And thus there are times when I have to work harder and then it is really easy to cross this critical point of accelerated tiredness. But for sure I am able to be more organized with my work on the computer in the evenings.

The second point is that the breaks during the day should be taken in the moments before reaching the critical point because I have noticed that the effectiveness of these short rests during the day is much better when do it before and not after being tired.

Another important point to mention here is that 2 years ago I was struggling a lot to sleep 6 hours and at that point it was my strong which to be able to do it. Today I have achieved it and it works fine for me. Thus there is no point of being disappointed that I cannot sleep 4 hours or less.

Maybe in the future...

To be continued...
