Even though every fall is painful it gives an opportunity to see the reality with more clarity. As I said if the experience is really painful then the shock causes the mind to shut down as it does not know how to deal with this situation and then we have the opportunity to see what is going on and do something about it. Or at least we have the chance to start doing something about it.

But it does not mean at all that everybody who falls down from the tree will open their eyes. Maybe they will for a tiny moment but because the mind has taken over the body and the being itself completely then this person will completely ignore and doubt that what they see could be real and instead he will find an explanation that this is a fantasy and imagination of his mind resulting from the shock. So this person regards the fantasy of his mind as reality and the real reality as the fantasy. And so as soon as this person recovers from the injuries in the hospital he will "climb on" his tree and start cutting another branch.

So you'll see... forgiving others for hurting you, robbing you etc. is one step ahead of those who take revenge in hatred and anger. But unfortunately this does not release you from the karma. Because you'll see... within the process of forgiving others you still believe that you are the victim and you do not see and you do not realise that you are the one who has created this situation. And thus you should not focus your whole attention on forgiving others but instead you should concentrate on forgiving yourself. By forgiving yourself you admit to yourself that you take responsibility for what happened and what is happening to you. And only then you have the chance to change it as you stop being powerless victim and you become the creator/architect of your own life.
