But even though changing the chair or the computer table may not be enough to help you with the neck pain, it doesn't mean that it is all complicated and that you must immediately give up and take the pain killer or go the doctor or physiotherapists. It is just a matter to investigate and try different things and see what works and what does not. There is no need to go and try to spend a lot of money on the most modern and sophisticated office chair worth few hundreds or even few thousands of dollars. First of all this may be another way of sabotaging yourself because you have not enough money to buy and thus you will not try different things which would help you and secondly I have looked at the most expensive office chairs in the shops and I was not impressed with them either because they did not give good support to the vertebral column. And it does few really comfortable in the moment when I seat on it in the shop but this was just an impression of feeling something different. But then I realised that the position of the back is not correct and sooner or later I would have pain in my back but in a little bit different part or different intensity. Thus try and investigate the things which are within your reach. Just try them and see what works and what makes you better. And I am sure that you will surprise yourself many times that you were able to change and make thing better for yourself without spending any money on expensive hi-tech equipment, therapies, pain killers, doctors etc.

Another thing which helps me to prevent the pains are the exercises and the stretching. It is extremely effective to prevent and to deal with the pain and tension when it happens. But at the same time I know that there are so many people who are too lazy to do them and they simply go to the physiotherapist and pay money for the treatment which quite often doesn't give them permanent solution for the simple reason that the problem continues to exist somewhere else ( e.g. posture at the computer desk or at work in general ). And I don't mean here to go and join the gym and do workouts 5 times a week for more than 1 hour. It is not necessary. But go and do it if that is what you want to do. Remember that movement together with food, water and breathing are the basic and the foundations necessary to maintain your body in good shape and form. Thus do some kind of exercises. And find time to do it even if you have very busy schedule. Try to find 10-15 min a day at least. As I said it doesn't have to be complicated and it can be done in the office or at home but you must feel and see that it helps you with the pains. If you do them regularly you will see very quickly the results of it and you will be very glad that you did them.

To be continued...
