7 YRS PROCESS - DAY 1455 - POINT WITH ZERO OF EXTERNAL MOTIVATION

GO BACK

Point with zero of external motivation

I am catching up with posting online my articles.

In the last couple of months and maybe even years I placed myself at the point of taking on myself a lot of responsibilities and because it was all too much so struggling to keep up with the work load. Then I also had some tasks which have been waiting for completion for some months simply because I was not able to do them.

Anyway lately I have made some decisions ( followed by actions ) to reduce the number of my responsibilities simply because I needed to have some rest and take care of myself. And I already see how everything slows down. I still have couple of tasks with deadlines but still it is much easier for me to deal with it.

Yesterday I found myself in an interesting point. Yesterday evening I did not have any urgent tasks on my agenda to be taken care so I lied on the sofa to get some rest. After about half an hour I wanted to get up and do something and start working on my non-urgent tasks. But I did not feel like. You'll know... I was at the point where I was not "forced" to do anything. There were no external factors pushing or motivating me to do anything. It was just me lying down on the sofa. I could stay there and do nothing for the rest of the evening. But I got up and I started to do something.

You'll know... I saw this point already before when I worked on transformation of certain weak points within myself ( masturbation while watching porn ). There was a point when I had to make the decision about stopping this pattern in my life or continue with it. Once you start to work with yourself and any of your addictions, then you will see for yourself how your mind and ego throws at your temptations and you will have the tendency to act upon and justify your action by find some "nice" excuse like "there is nothing wrong with porn" or "everybody else does it as well".

Anyway this point which I could call a "zero point" is very interesting. Once you learn how to recognize it and then work through it by making the decisions ( followed by actions ) in your life according to the principle of what is best for all, then you will make a huge progress in your process.
