I am catching up with posting online my articles.
Today I spoke with a friend who is facing the problem with her partner who is addicted to alcohol. You'll know... this is the thing which I have experienced at home with my father for many years and thus I know "from inside" how it all works and operates. And while listening to the stories of my friend I realised that this is exactly the same film with the same scenario. And then I realised one thing and I said to myself:
"Fcuk... there are millions of people out there who go through the same shit and each of them has to learn the hard way how to deal with this problem".
I know that there are specialised centres and government organizations ( in some countries ) which offer help and support for those whose partners and family members are addicted but unfortunately most of the people don't know that this kind of help exists. Most of them know that there are specialised anti-addiction centres for those who are addicted but these people don't know that there are places which offer help for them.
You'll see... what is happening with the addiction within the family is that almost everybody thinks that the only person who needs help and support is the addict. And this is a very big mistake.
