7 YRS PROCESS - DAY 1020 - PEOPLE HAVE NO TIME FOR BREATHING WHEN THEY ARE SICK - PART 2

GO BACK

People have no time for breathing when they are sick

I am catching up with posting online my articles.

Thus breathing is extremely important for the proper functioning of the human body. But although it is so important we take it for granted and we ignore it. And thus when we get occupied with something ( could be work, thinking, emotions like falling in love, worry etc. ) then we let the breath to become shallow. Later we get used to it and we allow it to become a habit.

But as I said before this is not something that our body can cope with over longer period of time and eventually it becomes sick.

And so I have noticed this pattern and thus I advise my patients to do regular breathing exercise as a part of their rehabilitation and healing process. You-ll know... it makes all sense. Our body needs to breathe. And when we are sick we don-t breathe properly. It is a basic thing ( though it is ignored by the doctors and the patients ) but yet it is very powerful.

But although this is such a simple and easy thing, this is not what the patients want to do. As a matter of fact they give it low priority on their list. Usually people have problems finding time to do it ( which is an excuse ); they find it boring; they will do it less time than advised and/or they will stop doing it at the first opportunity.

Well... I am not surprised by it at all.

This thing with shallow breathing which becomes a habit is like an express train. Once the train goes at full speed and gains its momentum it is very difficult to stop it. From the moment of making decision to stop it, we need some time as it is almost impossible to stop the train instantly. And so the habit with shallow breathing also gains its momentum and even though we cut the fuel supply to the "engines" the habit will run forward for some time by itself.

And this is the reason why it is so difficult to do the breathing exercise and people really struggle with it.

Now... breathing is one of the basic and critical things ( apart from water, food and movement ) necessary for the functioning of the body. So stop ignoring it. Put it on your priority list. And once you are sick make sure that this is on the very top of this list. And I guarantee you that your recovery period will be much quicker.
