7 YRS PROCESS - DAY 286 - EXPECTING FROM MYSELF TO HAVE GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH MY PARENTS - PART 2

GO BACK

Expecting from myself to have good relationship with my parents

This is the continuation of the previous article:

EXPECTING FROM MYSELF TO HAVE GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH MY PARENTS - PART 1

Thus let's continue about my expectations in regards to have an ideal relationship with my parents. So far I have realized that I have allowed myself to create an ideal in my mind and I try to make it real but because this is not going to well I judge myself and I feel guilty about it.

Now... this type of behavior is typical when it comes to ideals impregnated within the mind without taking into consideration the facts of reality. Thus let's have a look at the facts of reality.

My parents are human beings. They are part of this reality. They are co-creators of this reality. They have their strong points and weak points. They try their best but it doesn't mean that they are doing the best. They have their ego, their worries, addictions etc. And the same with applies to me.

And thus knowing all of this I ask myself: WTF I am feeling guilty that my relationship with them is not perfect ?

It doesn't mean that my relationship cannot be perfect and all that needs to be done is applying the solution of what is best for all in every moment by all of us. But it is obvious that my expectation of perfection without taking into consideration the facts of reality and without applying the principle of what is best for all, is an artificial construct within my mind and it is indicating that I have few points to correct within me.

To be continued...
