7 YRS PROCESS - DAY 1590 - 21 DAYS OF POSITIVITY - PART 1

GO BACK

About trusting other people

I am catching up with posting online my articles.

So I have decided to do another experiment. This time I will try to see if I can be positive for 21 days. The reason for this is that when I work on my projects there comes a moment when I crash. I mean I start doing something. I advance but then there comes a moment when I struggle to maintain my concentration and I look for doing something which is not in line with my task/objective ( e.g. I waste time on playing computer games ). You'll know... this is all interesting because I could have simply chosen to do something which would get me closer to get my task done but instead I make the decision to play the computer game ( or waste my time on something else ). On top of it I play this game until very late at night and I get tired/exhausted which further carries its consequences to next day because then I usually continue to be tired and altogether I either do nothing about my task or my effectiveness is very low.

And this is the thing with this quite a famous saying: "YOU ARE YOUR OWN WORST ENEMY"

Thus what I want to see now if I can maintain my positivity for the period of 21 days. When I say positivity here I do not mean that I will maintain the "New Age Positive Thinking". I want simply make sure that I only do things which are positive for the completion of my task. This will include positive thinking as I noticed in the past that in the "difficult moments" I had some "negative thoughts" in my mind related to my tasks. But generally I refer to my actions which will help me to accomplish my task as soon as possible. Though as soon as possible cannot be working until exhaustion.

Thus my experiment will go as follows:
1. I will the tasks which I want to work on.
Though I will chose carefully only couple of tasks which will be for me top priority and something that I think I could accomplish apart from my daily job and other daily responsibilities.
2. I will make daily plan and I will see how I can fit it into my schedule.
Of course I realise that sometimes I will be more difficult to do everything due to the unpredictable nature of my work but I will do my best to do it every day. But anyway I want to include regular periods for rest and entertainment.
3. I will write about it every day for the next 3 weeks.

I will try to choose the tasks and make the plan tomorrow morning. If not then I will start it the next day.

To be continued
