You may not be fully aware of how it affects you but that does not mean that it does not.
To understand it better try to look at earth as big body and you are one of the cells which is part of it. When couple of cells ( humans ) are at war then the influence on the whole earth is very small ( but yet it affects it ). The same as with couple of viruses entering the human body. Usually the body's own defence mechanism will be able to handle it relatively easy and the virus will not affect the body. But when the number of cells at war is big then the effect and influence will be much more visible. Just like with the cancer which is an global war within the body.
Obviously in the beginning stages of the cancer you are not fully aware of how it affects you. But eventually there comes the point when you know that something is really bad going on in your body.
Now... it is exactly the same with war in Syria. It may seem that it is far away from you and that it does not affect you.
NO... you are very mistaken. It does affect you !!!
You are just not aware yet of how it does. And if you do not do anything to stop it from growing it will affect you more. And obviously then it will be much more difficult to treat it and the pain will be greater.
