LIG = LIVING INCOME GUARANTEED is the proposal of a new economical system which would make our lives easier, better and enjoyable and it would help to eliminate poverty, starvation and reduce greatly the abuse so commonly visible in our world. Here I refer to abuse in the form of: prostitution, war, economic slavery etc. - anything that is related to the taking advantage of others with the intentions to fulfill personal desires ( including getting rich ).
Now... when we discuss the abuse we must also mention that there are also people who abuse the social help system. Thus for example somebody pretends that s/he is sick and not capable to work and thus he receives the financial help from the government but at the same time s/he works illegally ( unofficially ).
This is a big problem and it is not easy to correct it efficiently at the moment. Obviously this will be also a problem within the new system and I see that this is one of the points which many people are concerned with when I talk with them about the Living Income Guaranteed. They are afraid that there will be too many people abusing the new system and thus they are kind of resistant towards supporting the implementation of LIG or BIG.
Now... I must understand one thing. We have a lot of shit to deal with it as the current system is completely fucked. We have around 1 billion people not receiving proper nutrition and we have many other problems. Thus we must set the priorities and then work step by step with every problem that comes along. Thus I see that it is extremely important to implement the new system ( BIG or preferably LIG ) as soon as possible because it will help to address the main problems of humanity like starvation, economic slavery, war etc. There are many more starving and suffering people than those who abuse current social help system. And once the new system is in place then we will focus on dealing with the abusers of the new system. And thus we will have to focus on the proper education. Education in schools is one of the main points but also we must implement other forms of education which includes TV, internet, newspapers etc. It is all possible but people must start to trust in the new system. They must get over the fear that again somebody else will try to take advantage of them.
