Instead of writing boss, president, politicians etc. we could easily use one word which describes it best - the authority.
Thus we place our hope and trust - quite often unconditionally - in the figures of authority. But now we should ask if they really deserve to have this unconditional trust of ours ?
To answer this question we can enter into very detailed analysis of this topic and even write a book about it. But we may also make it very simple by looking at the basics and use common sense and logic.
Thus... this king or president is another human being. We already know that they are not specially chosen by god or even being god themselves like it used to be believed for example in ancient Egypt. And thus looking at the king, queen, `president etc. as another human being we must take into consideration all of the characteristics of a human being.
And thus the human being must breathe, eat, drink, shit, fart and do few other things to live here on earth. But apart from these physiological functions many human beings are greedy, they are egoists, they have addictions, they are hateful, they are obsessive etc. Obviously we don't see very often - if ever at all - the king being angry or completely drunk but this is being done and prevented effectively in an effort to maintain the perfect image of the king in the eyes of the population. It is part of the brainwashing and manipulation done by the department of public relations.
Anyway... even though we don't see this type of behaviour of the king or other figures of authority in the media, the fact is that they are humans and they do it. We just don't see it and we ignore the facts and basics and later we allow ourselves to make a fairy story in our mind about the perfect king, prince or president. And here we have a problem because later we give the king and president our unconditional trust which is based on this illusion created within our mind. And then the king or president makes the decision about the war, health care budget cuts etc. and we don't oppose.
Thus remember that the king, queen, president and other figures of authority fart, shit, burp, have addictions, cheat on their partners, take drugs and do a lot of other shit. And you should not give them your unconditional trust and place hope in them unless you see that they deserve it through their actions which are best for all human beings and the whole planet.
