7 YRS PROCESS - DAY 531 - IS IT ENOUGH TO FEEL SORRY FOR OTHERS WHO SUFFER ? - PART 1

GO BACK

Is it enough to feel sorry for others who suffer ?

Ok... so you see somebody who suffers and you feel sorry for them... that is fine... it shows that you are not only centred around yourself and you are aware of the others and what is happening with them...

But then you must ask yourself some questions: "...what are your intentions behind feeling sorry ?" and "...are you going to do something about the situation through which somebody else suffers ?".

Now... this is probably not the first time when you feel sorry for somebody else who suffers but most probably you have never before asked yourself these simple questions... have you ?

As you have noticed yourself feeling sorry for somebody else who suffers, changes practically nothing. The situation of suffering continues time after time and nothing changes.

But you may say that you are not responsible for the suffering of the other person... You may say that you would do something to change it if you could but you are so small and insignificant and there are so many problems in the world and on top of it you have a lot of your own problems to deal with...

But in both cases you are wrong... yes !!! ... you are completely mistaken...

How come ?

We live in a matrix where everything is interconnected with everything and everybody else. We live in the world where we co-create things with others.

I will give you one simple example...

Let's say that you have hurt or abused somebody in the past. This somebody doesn't know how to deal with this enormous suffering that you have caused him and he decides to hurt others. Those others do the same to others. And imagine that this person that you feel sorry for has been hurt and suffers as a result of abuse of one of these persons who have made the decision to hurt others as revenge. Of course in that when you see somebody suffering you don't realise that this is the direct consequence of your actions in the past but the fact is that you have contributed to it personally and thus you are directly responsible for it although as I have said you don't see it in this moment.

And do you really think that you can do nothing to change the world ? If everybody else ( also small and insignificant ) did something and even better united and worked as a group then changing the world and the current system which is abusive would be easily changed.

Think about it next time when you see somebody else suffering and you feel sorry for them. You can do a lot to help them. You can do a lot to stop it and you can do a lot to prevent it in the future. And this would be the best thing you could ever do for others and yourself.
