I had problem with internet last night and thus I am posting my article today.
In the recent years we can see more and more manifestations taking place. And it is not just in one or two countries but it is affecting many countries around the globe. Before this kind of events could easily get unnoticed because of clever media manipulation but this time it is different because of easy access of population to the internet and the sharing of information via social media independently of the public media.
Thus this time we can get to know that the manifestations in Africa, in Turkey or in Brasil are not the gathering of few hundreds of people who don't really know what they want but they are the gatherings of thousands and sometimes millions of people.
Obviously these people are not happy about something ( usually their life style which has turned into an extreme struggle for survival in the times of economic crisis ) and they are quite desperate and in that desperation they are ready to get involved literally into the war with the government and the police. Obviously the police and the army have advantage of having modern technology, guns and other equipment to deal "effectively" ( by even killing the demonstrators ) with the crowd who is fighting against the tanks with stones, bottles etc.
But even though the government and their police and army have huge advantage there is one point which they must take into consideration. Fighting with and against the population escalates the level of desperation and at one stage the population can actually get to the point of overthrowing the government. It will not always be the case because for example the fighting in Syria has been already going on for about 2 years and it is going to continue for some time. But what I want to say is that in some countries the people will be able to do it and they will be able to elect new government which will be able to make reforms which will be good for the people. And once it happens there will be more motivation and example to follow for people from other countries to do the same. And the elite doesn't want it because once it starts rolling then it is going to be more and more difficult for them to stay in control as they are at the moment.
