The situation of being forced to work despite the fact that I am sick is not pleasant at all but as I said in the previous article there is no point of complaining and playing the victim. First of all this is not going to happen much and secondly I will not be able to do anything about it. But the story is completely different if I realize and accept that I am responsible for it.

Of course I won't be able to change the whole economic and social system in 1 day ( or even 1 year ) which means that I will have to struggle for some time until I get better but I will look at how I have got myself to the point of being sick ( and this can be traced although it takes time and patience ) and to look at what can be done to create a different system so that other beings in the future don't have to face the same misery.

I know that it seems as if I was trying to take on the whole world which could be easily compared to Don Quixote and his fight with the windmills but this is not so. I will do as much as I can and whatever is necessary to make the change. And this is all that everybody else needs to do because once we have more people with the intention and motivation to make the change then we will manage to make this change a reality.

Now... I am sure that you have heard about stories in the newspapers and TV about people who have lost their loved ones through stupidity of other humans and after the loss they dedicate their whole life and all their resources to prevent this kind of situations and deaths for others. I cannot give here names and specific examples but I am sure that you know what I am talking about. Anyway the point is that we are capable of making the change. It is just the matter of self discipline, dedication and motivation. Why should we wait till it is too late ? Why should you wait till you are sick yourself or your children and you an them will be forced to work and maybe even die because you will not be able to support yourself because of sickness. This may happen to any of us. And it doesn't matter that you have health insurance. I have a friend who's uncle got sick. When he got a cancer his insurance company has paid for the chemotherapy which as you should know is very expensive. They have also paid for it when the cancer returned couple of years later. But when it returned for the 3rd time the insurance has refused to pay for it because this was exceeding the insurance policy. You see... it doesn't matter that you work hard and pay your insurance. The current system is so designed that it makes profit and you are being used to generate the profit. As soon as you are becoming literally a cost then the system dumps you and leaves you on your own.

It is all fucked up. If not for you there are millions of people in this world who suffer unnecessarily. This could be changed but it is required dedication and motivation of each of us to it. I recommend that you don't wait till you get sick because then you will regret big time that you have not done anything to make the change.
