7 YRS PROCESS - DAY 18 - NEVER GIVE UP - BEST FOR ME vs BEST FOR ALL

GO BACK

never give up

There is also one interesting point when it comes to the saying about "never give up". Many people use it to achieve their personal goals and as I said before it is very supportive in the moments of weakness but when you speak with these people about doing something to change the world - which is no more personal interest and doesn't give you directly measurable financial benefits - then they almost always forget about this saying. And instead of committing themselves and saying "yes" they give you all sorts of excuses and one of them is: "I can do nothing because I'm too small and too insignificant to change the whole world" or something similar to it. The whole wonderful saying "never give up" is completely forgotten and the person literally gives up without even trying to look at the whole situation and reconsider whether the goal of changing the world is not achievable at all.

On one hand you are right - it is rather impossible for you alone to change the whole world. But on the other side it is not impossible for you to do as much as you can towards making the change in the whole world. And once you start doing what you can do and what is in your direct sphere of influence, you would start making the changes. Of course in the beginning this will seam as something small and insignificant and it will not be noticed on the global scene and nobody is going to talk about it on TV in prime time. But once you start doing something and once you start changing yourself you are becoming a living example to others and later there will be other people who will also start doing something in their direct sphere of influence. And once we have a group of individuals who work towards changing the world and they are only doing what they can do and what is in their direct sphere of influence, then these small and insignificant individuals will be able to make the change that will be noticeable on the global scene. And the impact of their actions will be even greater if they worked together as one group.

Thus you see... your argument that you are too small and too insignificant to make any change in the world is not valid. It is an excuse because maybe you are too lazy, too afraid or maybe you have been simply brainwashed into believing that you can not do anything in this world to change it. And I say to you now: "stop it right now".

As I said before this saying "never give up" is very supportive. But stop using it only to achieve your own egoistic goals because then there is a big chance that you are contributing to make our world even more fucked up. Instead set yourself goals that are "best for all" and do it. Stop giving up before you even start. Take some time, be self honest and reconsider whether it is a fact that you can do absolutely nothing to make any change that would benefit the whole world. Don't go out there and try to make global revolution. If you are not prepared for something like this, you will be most probably overwhelmed by it and you will fail. Start with yourself. Change yourself first because once you do it, your world around you will start to change and because everything is connected on many levels than this is how the whole world will change as well. Apart from this once you understand how you can change yourself you will be able to assist others, you will be the living example that the change is possible and this will have much greater impact on the whole world rather than organizing revolution which usually ends up in blood being spilled on the streets and after some you realize that you have not changed the world at all but only you have changed people who are in power. Basically speaking the revolution usually resets the system and it doesn't make any real change.

Thus remember... "Never give up" but make your goals which are only best for all - which are best for the whole world.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to give up on what is best for all.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to give up on changing the world because I believed that I am too small and too insignificant.

I forgive myself that I have not allowed myself to realise that I have allowed myself to create within my mind an illusion of separation from others and from the whole world and in this separation I don't see how everything that I do affects the whole world. Thus my statement that I am too small and too insignificant to change the word is not valid.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to belief that to change the world there has to be global revolution out there and this limiting belief was causing the feeling of overwhelming within me and as the result of it I have given up without analysing and considering what is feasible and what is not in regards to making the change in the world which would be best for all.

I forgive myself that I have accepted and allowed myself to use the supportive statement "never give up" only for my personal goals without realising that my personal goals cause harm and suffering to others because in my goals I only consider what is best for me.

I forgive myself that I have not allowed myself to realise that setting my goals with consideration of what is best for me only without consideration of what is best for all, would cause suffering and harm to somebody else.

I forgive myself that I have not allowed myself to realise that the world is being fucked because I never give up on my personal and egoistic goals but I give up on the goals which are best for all.
